ZAMPARDI | ZAMPARDO

Zampardi, very rare, has a stump in Palermo and a small one in Genoa, Zampardo would seem specific of Genoa, should derive from the name composed of the union of medieval names Johannes and Pardus (see PARDI), through the dialectal form contracted Zanni Together with Pardo, it is therefore the cognization of the ancestor's name.
