Zampol, very very rare, is specific of Cadore, Zampoli, also very rare, it would seem originating in Polesine, but could be also Tuscan, Zampolo, almost unique, is due almost certainly to a mistake of transcription of the previous that should derive From the merger of the names Zanni (Gianni) and Polo (Paolo), traces of this cognitive knowledge are found in 1701 in the register of weddings of Pegognaga (MN) signed by: "... Ego Joannes Paulus Zampolus, Rector huius Ecclesie Parochialis S. Jacobi Apostoli Polesini... ".
