Zarrilli is typical of Calitri (AV), Zarrillo is typical of the Casertano, of Marcianise in particular, but still present in a significant way also to Capodrise and Capua, they should derive from nicknames originated from the dialect word dialectal zarro (Incespico, Stumbling, small obstacle), traces of these cognitive-ominizations are found in the Caserta since 1500.
