Zorza and Zorzetti are typical of the Brescia area, Zorzan is of the Paduan and Vicenza regions, Zorzati is extremely rare, it is from the Veneto region, Zorzato appears to be from the Paduan area, Zorzella is specific to the Verona area, Verona, Cerea, Vigasio and Zevio, and the nearby Mantua, Zorzet, extremely rare, it is specific to the provinces of Gorizia and Trieste, Zorzetto is decidedly Venetian, Zorzi is specific to the Brescia and Veneto regions, from Trentino to Padua, from Verona to the Venetian coast, Zorzin has a stock in the Vicenza area and one in the Gorizia area, Zorzoli is specific to the Gambolò and Vigevano Pavese, and to the Milanese, Zorzolo, decidedly more rare, is typical of the Mortara and Vigevano Pavese, all derive, directly or through hypochoristic, from dialectal modifications of the apocope of names like Giorgio (Zorzo).
