Zuan and almost single, Zuanella and the Trevigiano, Zuanelli, absolutely strange, would like to see the area between Trentino and Bellunese, Zuani, very weird, and typical of the area between Trentino and Verona, all deriving from the dialectal modifications of Giovanni's name. It is from this cognomen that we find it to Breda di Piave (TV) from the end of 1300, as it is evident from the text of 1310: "... Die tertio ditis mensis procuratores intraverunt tenutam et corporalem possessionem domus et ecclesie sancti Pauli de Brayda, ordinate supradicti et diocesis tervisinae. Presentibus Bino predicto et Johanne clerico filio Zuani de Troarefro testibus ut alys omnibus .... ".
