Very rare is specific of the Neapolitan additions provided by dr. Andrea Jelardi (Naples) A very noble family of German origin whose original surname was Kassitt. The Cassitti, counts of Ortenburg, Stevburg and Cilia, arrived in Italy were entered in the Book of gold of the Patriciate of Ravello and a branch of the family moved from Ravello (SA) to Bonito (AV). The family coat of arms depicts three triangular fields with three birds inside, to which the head was removed following contrasts between a family member and the Emperor. The family crest is reproduced inside the Cathedral of Ravello.
