Very rare both are typical of Milanese, could derive from the toponym, abolished in 1925, Castelletto Scazzoso (AL) additions provided by G. Scazzosi is present in the area west of Busto Arsizio; Castelletto Mombercelli was once called Castelletto Scazzoso. Additions provided by Giovanni Vezzelli Scazzosi is a surname typical of Milanese. The surname is remembered, in Milan, in 1408, for an Antonius Schazoxius. The Phlechia explained it from ' Scaglioso ', but phonetically suggests either a Latin ' captiosus ', or even a derivative from the common voice ' scarse ' = tilled terrain.
