All these surnames derive from modifications or apheresis of the name Isaac or, more frequently, by variations of the apocope of the name Jacopo (Jaco, Giaco, Zaco, etc), in the first case, are probable Hebrew ancestry. In 1500 we find in Rubiera (RE) a notary Francesco Zacchetti, so it is reported in an inscription: "HOC CRISTI TABERNACLE ORNATUM EST M.D. XVII 5 IND. D. FRANCESCO CAVALLERINI MUTINA CAPELLANO PROCUR.
