The Caspar family, also known under the noble name of Edle von Caspar, is a family of ancient origins and high nobility, whose roots go deep into the fertile and prestigious soil of Bavaria. His nobility is attested and solemnly confirmed by the presence of his coat of arms in the authoritative and renowned “Armorial Général” heraldic register, drawn up by the famous heraldist J.B. Rietstap, a work that collects the regalia of the most illustrious houses in Europe. Furthermore, we cannot remain silent about the existence of another branch of the Caspar family, whose name derives from the homonymous town of Caspar, a small but historically significant hamlet located near the town of Boppard, along the majestic banks of the Rhine.
