The commendator GB of Crollalanza reports the blazon of this family in the volumes of his historical blazon dictionary of the noble and notable Italian families. An illustrious and historic family at the same time, however, as Dolfi says in his "Chronology of the noble families of Bologna, with their insignia, and in the end the crests", printed in Bologna at Giovan Battista Ferroni in 1670, coming from Bologna.
