Nel 1420 un Niccolò, in ricompensa dei servizi resi durante l'assedio del castello di Monteleone, ebbe in allodio il salto di Ruda che però poco dopo vendette ai De Ferraira: nel 1422 divenne sostituto procuratore reale del Logudoro.
