De Guipúzcoa, con casas solares en Lazcano, Gaviria y Villafranca de Oria. Este apellido ejecutorió por primera vez su hidalguía en juicio contradictorio habido en 1640, ante la justicia ordinaria de la villa de Gaviria. Desde ésta pasaron a otras villas de la propia Guipúzcoa, como Albistur, Ataún y Tolosa, en todas las cuales hicieron la oportuna información de nobleza. De la casa de la villa de Lazcano procedió Felipe de A. y Zubiria, Secretariod el Virreinato del Perú y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, en la que ingresó el 17 de Marzo de 1745. También descendió de la misma casa León de A. y Pando, natural de Buenos Aires y Caballero de la Orden de Carlos III, desde 1800.
