Fue tronco de esta Casa, el quinto hijo del Capitán Don Bernardo Diego de A.-Bazán, Don Juan Nepomuceno de San Juan Evangelista de A. y de Franchi-Alfaro Llarena-Carrasco y Mesa, nacido el 3 de enero de 1785. Contrajo matrimonio en la villa de La Orotava el 24 de diciembre de 1810, con Doña María del Carmen Pinilla de Riveros y tuvieron tres hijos, siguiendo la línea el primogénito: Don Tomás de A. y de Aponte Franchi-Alfaro y Pinilla de Riveros, que nació el 29 de dicembre de 1811 y casó en La Orotava el 4 de enero de 1834, con Doña María de la Natividad Catalina Agustina Estévez Ugarte y Melo, también nacida en La Orotava el 8 de septiembre de 1817, descendiente directa de Juan Estévez, Hidalgo portugués, y del Conquistador de Tenerife Juan Doramas, sobrino del último Rey canario.
