Valida Trocosendes, de quem foi filho D. Garcia Moniz, que os Mouros mataram na conquista de Riba Douro. Este foi avô paterno de D. Garcia Rodrigues, que se chamou da Fonseca por ter o senhorio deste lugar, junto a S.martinho de Mouros, que possuíu em Honra e tomou aos Mouros com seu irmão D. Paio Garcia. Foi também senhor do Couto de Leomil, por doação do Conde D. Henrique no ano de 1102, e casado com D. Dordia Ramires, filha de D. Ramiro, Senhor de Távora, de quem teve D. Egas Garcia da Fonseca, Rico-Homem do Rei D.Afonso Henriques e sucessor dos senhorios de Couto de Leomil e Honra de Fonseca, o qual casou com D. Mor Pais de Curveira, filha de D. Paio Pires Romeu.
