Candido, secondogenito del conte e duca Luigi fu creato marchese con Breve pontificio 11 agosto 1859, e Girolamo, terzogenito di Luigi, ebbe pure concessione pontificia del titolo di conte. Detto conte Girolamo fu una delle personalità più in vista del mondo politico-amministrativo napoleonico.
