Nobility crown LestraCette maison, originaire du fief de Lestra, en la paroisse de Saint-Sylvestre, en Haut Vivarais, forma, d'après le Vicomte de Montravel, trois branches. Noble Antoine, vivait, au milieu du XVIème siècle au fief de Lestra, paroisse de Saint-Sylvestre. Il fut père, entre autres, de Virgile et da Constantin, qui forma la branche de Saint-Cierge. Noble Virgile, écuyer , possédait, en la paroisse de Saint-Sylvestre, le fief de lestra et aussi celui de Saint-martin-de-Galezas, où il habitait. Il testa, le 24 février 1560, et avit èpousé Antoinette de Vernoux, fille de noble jean, sieur du Bresset, en la paroisse de Saint-Romain-de-Lerps. Ayant survécu à son mari et à leur fils, autre Virgile, elle hérita de leurs biens et testa, le 22 juin 1586, et fit héritier le neveu de son mari, Claude, fils de Costantin. Noble Costantin avait épousé, vers 1540, Marguerite-Florette de Saint-Cierge, dame de ce fief, situé en la paroisee de Mascheville mandement de La Mastre. Ils eurent, entre autres enfants: 1)Claude, qui suit; 2)Philibert, auteur de la branche de Colonnier. 3)Claude de saint-Cierge, seigneur de Saint-Cierge et de Lestra est probablement le même qui en 1575, épousa Simonne de Barjac. 4)Leur fils, Jean de Saint-Cierge, mort entre 1640 et 1641, avait épousé demoiselle Izabeau Faure, de la ville de Tournon. Ils eurent plusieurs enfants, entre autres: 5) marie de Saint-Cierge, qui épousa, au milieu du XVIIème siècle, Jean Montreynaud d'Estezet, à qui elle porta tous les biens de sa maison. ...
