Noblesse appelés Monlhade alias Molhade. Armand, Hugues, chanoine de St-Georges de St-Paulien, et Pons, frères, vivaient le 21 janvier 1273. Jean leur avait succedé en 1279. Noble Jousserand rend hommage à l'évêque du Puy de tout ce qu'il possédait dans la ville, château et mandement de Saint-Paulien et apparnances de St-Georges, le 21 juin 1306 et, en 1309, d'un fief dans le mandement d'Espaly. Raymond, damoiseau, rend hommage en 1318 à l'Évêque du Puy, de la maison qu'il tenait dans le château d'Arzon. Durand, damoiseau, possédait les mêmes terres en 1337. Sa fille épousa Pierre Brun, seigneur de Faugères, coseigneur d'Araules en 1362, d'où: Soberaine Brun (de Lanthenas), dame de la Monlhade, laquelle apporta ce fief, en mariage le 16 janvier 1395, à Hugues de la Rochelambert. On la retrouve en différentes époques et en diverses localités. Il est certain cependant que jadis, dans la succession de faits historiques de petite ou grande envergure, la souche originaire ait pu donner lieu à de nombreuses branches fleuries dans diverses régions françaises. ...
