Capostipite noto è Pietro, il quale giurò nel 1576 fedeltà al Duca di Savoia. Nell'atto di Omaggio è qualificato nobile. Suo figlio Eustacchio, fu commissario ducale e notaio. Sposò nel 1578 una damigella Fourrier e da queste nozze nacque fu nobilitato col figlio Antonio il 20 aprile 1634 (conferma 18 dicembre 1639) per i servizi prestati al Duca di Savoia in specie nell'assedio di Vercelli. Antonio, detto "de la Tour", fu capitano di fanteria al servizio Sabaudo distinguendosi specialmente nell'assedio di Verrua.
