Nobility crown TrogoffTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne qui compte parmi ses premiers membres: Alain, juveigneur de Lanvaux, fils de Geoffroi et de Tiphaine de Rohan, devait un demi chevalier à l'ost du duc en 1294, pour sa terre de cette famille, dont il prit le nom; Pierre, tenant le parti de Charles de Blois en 1256, eut sa terre confisquée par Jean de Montfort qui l'engagea au roi d'Angleterre Édouard III. Le dit Pierre rentra en possession de cette maison, après la prise de cette place par du Guesclin en 1364 et laissa deux fils: Jean, qui a continué la branche aînée; Yves, marié vers 1399 à Marguerite Léon, de la maison de Kergarff, dont deux fils: Alain, marié Marguerite, dame de Roc'hmélen, et Pierre, marié à Alix, dame de Quenquizou, auteurs des branches qui existent encore. Jean, seigneur de Kergolleau, épouse vers 1428 Jeanne de Kermoysan, dont Guillaume, marié en 1460 à Jeanne de Lannion, fille de Rolland et de Guyonne de Grézy, dame des Aubrays. Pierre, conseiller au parlement en 1771: un lieutenant des maréchaux de France à Lannion en 1788; un capitaine de vaisseau en 1784, contre-amiral en 1793, mort en 1794; un sous-lieutenant au régiment de Viennois (infanterie) en 1782, maréchal de camp en 1814, aide de camp du Roi et gouverneur de Saint-Clud, mort en 1840. La branche aînée a fini à Jeanne, dame de cette maison l'une de filles de la duchesse Jeanne de France en 1420, mariée à Olivier de Ploësquelle, d'où la châtellenie de cette famille a appartenu successivement aux Pont-l'Abbé, Tournemine, du Chastelier, Villeblache, Espinay, puis par acquêt en 1559, Pensornou, Huon de Kermadec, Allain de la Marre, des Nos des Fossés et Kergorlay. La branche de Kerprigent fondue dans Kermabon, puis Mol; la branche du Pontglo fondue dans en 1608 Rosmadec; la branche de Kergolleau fondue au XVIème siècle dans du Liscoët. ...
