Don Francisco de V., Caballero de la Orden de Calatrava, fue Corregidor de Gran Canaria y en septiembre de 1737 tomó posesión de igual cargo en Tenerife y La Palma. Don Fernando de V. fue creado Marqués de Villasierra en 1677; Don Juan de V. Venegas, Conde de Val del Aguila, en 1690, y Don Alonso Eduardo de V., Marqués del Puente de la Virgen, 1761.
