Nobility crown VichyTrès illustre chevalerie. Elle tire son nom de la ville de Vichy. Théodebert est au nombre des bienfaiteurs de l'abbaye de St-Rigaud près Macon en 1065. Filiation suivie depuis Geoffroy, seigneur châtelain dudit lieu, marié vers 1165 à Isabeau de Lévis. Dans leur descendance on remarque: Renaud, grand maître de l'ordre du Temple (1250-1255); Geoffroy, visiteur général du même ordre en Angleterre et en France (1291); Dalmas chevalier croisé (1248); Smaragde dame de Busset et de Puysagut, mariée en 1387 à Morinot de Tourzel baron d'Allègre, et soeur de Jean qui céda sa part de la terre de Vichy à Pierre de Bourbon comte de la Marche (1344). Plusieurs branches: I. seigneurs du Montel en Bourbonnais, qui ont pour tige: Jean (1260); éteints en 1506. - II. comtes de Champrond en Mâconnais, seigneurs de Luzillat, Vendègre, etc. en Auvergne, qui ont pour auteur: Dalmas II, père de Robert, marié vers 1345 à Marguerite dame de Champrond. Leur arrière-petit-fils, Carados, seigneur de Champrond, Vendègre, etc., marié en 1433 à Marguerite de la Mer de Matha dame de Limons, laissa trois fils: I° Antoine II qui a continué les de Vichy marquis et comtes de Champrond, encore existants; 2° Louis auteur de la branche des seigneurs d'Agencourt et de Saigny en Bourgogne, éteints en 1821; 3° jean, marié le 4 septembre 1491 à Antoinette de Polignac, soeur d'Armand et de Jean seigneur de Luzilhat, Vendègre, etc., marié le 8 mars 1511 à Françoise de Villate de Jonchères et père de Franois de Vichy allié le 22 septembre 1558 à Françoise de Langeac dame de Berbezit. Leur postérité, existante , a été maintenue en Auvergne le 18 janvier 1667. Des chevaliers croisés: cinq chanoines-comtes de Brioude (1257-1718); un aumônier de la reine Marie-Antoinette, évêque d'Autun (1819), pair de France et conseiller d'Etat. Très belles alliances. ...
