O filho primogénito daquele casal, Simão da Silva L. (bapt. na Matriz de Montemor-o-Novo a 10.11.1700) foi cavaleiro da o. de Cristo, capitão-mór de Montemor-o-Novo e herd.º do vínculo instituído em Évora pelo tio de sua mulher, o ilustre cónego prebendado da catedral de Évora, doutor em Teologia e vigário geral da Arquidiocese, Manuel Álvares Cidade. Casou na Matriz de Montemor-o-Novo, a 13.3.1719, com D. Sebastiana-Josefa-Maria Cidade (bapt. na mesma Matriz a 31.1.1705), filha de João Ferreira Cidade e 1ª mulher Tomásia da Conceição, e deles foi filho primogénito António da Silva L. Cidade. ...
