Count Agostino, second son of Count Ilarione, had the inheritance of the surname Bagliani from Count Carlo Nicolò, of Gio. Angelo Inviziati. The aforementioned count Carlo Nicolò Inviziati, who was the son of Vittoria Bagliani, had in turn inherited it from his uncle Giovanni Raimondo Bagliani, and having no descendants, he disposed of it as a testament in favor of his cousin Agostino. He was an artillery officer, chief of staff in Crimea, lieutenant general (1860), deputy to the national parliament in the 4-5-6-7-8-9 legislatures and twice minister of war.
