Questa famiglia avanti Cesare Augusto fu annoverata tra le famiglie Romane, come ne fa testimonianza il Panuino; ed avanti fu Asisana, godendo in Asisi il magistrato del Semorato; ed altri, come in più marmi di questa si legge in persona di C. A. figliuolo di L. A., e dell'altro C. A. cognominato Cappella, come ne' marmi fissi in una pariete cadente dirimpetto alla Chiesuola di A. Feliciano fuori della porta nuova d'Asisi; e Fulvio Orfini nel suo trattato delle medaglie rimostra di questa molte monete; ed in particolare di M. A., e di C. A. Gem. e dice, che questo M. A. fu Pretore nel 577. di Roma; e C. A. essere stato mandato dal Senato romano Ambasciatore a Massinissa, ed a' Cartaginesi; e in S. Pietro d'Asisi nel pavimento di detta Chiesa, cioè nel Santuario, vi è un marmo di C. A., e il suo Magistrato.
