En Navarra está la primitiva casa solar de este antiguo y noble linaje, que ha dado muchos y buenos caballeros. Una rama se estableció en Tolosa (Guipúzcoa), creando nuevo solar. De éste procedía D. Domingo de A., que fué en 1599 Regidor de Tolosa. Su hija, doña María de A., natural también de Tolosa, fué abuela de D. Francisco de Aramburu, caballero de Alcántara en 1747. En Méjico hay también descendientes de este ilustre linaje. Proceden de la rama de Guipúzcoa. Otra casa muy antigua. En la villa de Vidania, del partido judicial de Azpéitia (Guipúzcoa). Pasaron a Tolosa y Navarra. Miguel A., natural de Tolosa y descendiente de la casa solar de A. en Vidania, fué vecino de San Sebastián en 1566, y Miguel Ignacio A., probó su hidalguía ante la Justicia ordinaria de Azpéitia en 1740. Hay también casa de este apellido en la villa de Régil, del partido de Tolosa.
