La familia Accosta es una rama de la familia Costa. Antigua familia de Chieri, con ciertos recuerdos que se remontan al segundo. XII, agregado con los Raschieri en el Hotel degli Albuzzani. Ha estado en un estado alto desde principios de siglo. XV con Luigi, autor del lustre y la fortuna de su hogar, luego defendido por Cavallerleone (1402), Arignano (1407), Polonghera (1411), Bene (1412), Valogorera (1413), Trinità (1416 ), de Carrù (1418), etc. Sirvió en consejos y en guerra al primer duque de la Casa de Saboya, Amedeo VIII, y al príncipe de Acaya, con el rango de teniente general de las tropas.
