Apenas os relatos da Villabianca muito clara foram essa família patrícia messiânica oriunda de outro chamado Donnino de Florença e que apresenta o título de conde. O primeiro a ser investido foi Andrea, de acordo com Mongitore, um talentoso homem de letras, que ocupava escritórios importantes por seus talentos. Então a família comprou feudos e muito mais; de modo que é encontrado no professor dos nobres de Messina, e conta com algum cavaleiro de Malta. Também sabemos que ela possuía os barões de Pileri e Suttufari, e não o título de duque da Cadeia em 1748. No complemento da Villabianca encontramos Tommaso que morreu em 1764, seguido por Giovambattista investido em 1775. Enquanto isso, sabe-se que Tommaso estava comprando dos dois feudos Canticaglione e Finocchiaro, outrora uma Casa Buglio com um mero e império misto. Um ramo é encontrado em Licata e precisamente o do conde Adonnino.
