Queria que a família Agostinetto fosse um ramo da nobre família Agosti, originária de Como, mas que se mudou para Belluno no século XV, onde se juntou a esse nobre conselho em 1607, mas se extinguiu em 1670. Outro ramo, no entanto, obteve o título de comitê. , decorrente da investidura de um quilate do condado jurisdicional de Cesana, obtido para o decreto do Senado Veneto em 28 de novembro de 1748, em razão de feudos nobres, justos, legais, gentis e antigos. Em 1759, ele também foi agregado ao mesmo Concílio, na pessoa do conde Francesco e seus descendentes. Com as resoluções soberanas de 19 de novembro de 1820, 14 de fevereiro de 1821 e 29 de outubro de 1829, a nobreza e o título do comitê foram confirmados para essa família.
