Dal Gerardo di Aidone Barone del feudo della Montagna di Marzo posto nel territorio di Piazza ne nacque Riccardo che gli successe Bernardo suo figlio nel 1453 generò costui a Giovanni che fu Dott. di Legge nel 1479 hebbe per moglie Vicenza figlia di Pietro Gassuri che partorì Elisabetta che nel 1497 successe in detto feudo al padre, ed a costei Catarinella,
