Palizzolo, baseado no que foi transmitido de Mugnos, relatou que a família Alcono de origem aragonesa desfrutava do baronato de Camastra, enquanto a de origem romana era a de Bulgarano. Alcono, Acono o Alconer di Sicilia. Citato in "Blasone In Sicilia ossia Raccolta Araldica" V. Palizzolo Gravina, Palermo 1871-75, p. 60. Il blasone appare errato nella posizione della croce che sormonta caprioli, e nel tipo di croce che è una crocetta e non una croce potenziata, ma la riproduzione grafica nella bibliografia, probabilmente inviata dalla famiglia, è così.
