Familia antigua y noble decorada con el título Comitale, cuyos primeros recuerdos se remontan a 1478, año en que Don Basilio Aldini fue nombrado Abbate del monasterio de S. Maria del Monte, de la Orden Benedictina. Un escritor, filósofo, médico del papa Urbano VIII de Tobia Aldini y famoso químico vivió en 1625. En el siglo XVIII, un famoso Pier-Vittorio floreció por sus escritos numismáticos y heráldicos, que era profesor en la Universidad de Pavía, y Giuseppe-Antonio, famoso latinoconsultor y jurisconsulto erudito, profesor en la Universidad de Cesena. No hay noticias de esta familia desde la primera mitad del siglo XIX.
