Esta família vem de Sutri. A lembrança mais antiga encontrada dela é um instrumento entre Cecco Picchi e Mariano, do qm. Alessandro de Alessandrini, do ano de 1475 no Arquivo Capitolino. Em 1495 Mariano Alessandrini teve Adriano Sanguigni como esposa como se pode ver na igreja de Minerva em duas lápides distintas, têm a casa no bairro de Parione, em cuja porta de mármore se vê a arma das três coroas de mármore. Na Igreja de Minerva é possível ver uma lápide com a figura de um homem e armas: DOM Mariano. "Alexandri de Alexandris Prudentia Rerum Gerendarum et Animi Magnitude Claro qui ita vixit ut moriturus ita Defuncuts ut M. Amicaum Pectoriru, Adriana Coniugi Benemeriti P. vixit an LIII an. DNI M. Outra placa adjacente à referida figura de uma mulher e arne Sanguigna .DO M: Adriana.Nobres romanos Sanguinele Quae Cupiens Temporum .... Non Mediocri....Patrimonium .....
