Appartennero a questa famiglia Bartolo di Sassoferrato, celeberrimo giurista e professore nell'Ateneo perugino nel secolo XIV; Domenico di Paris (1483-1553) pittore e amico di Raffaello d'Urbino; Orazio, figlio del predetto Domenico (1510-1583) anche questi pittore; Francesco, Vescovo di Jesi. Il Crollanza nel suo Annuario della Nobiltà Italiana (1895) dichiara che il barone Giuseppe Danzetta di Perugia avendo sposato nel 1856 Piera Luisa n. 10 marzo 1835, morta 8 settembre 1888, figlia del Conte Francesco Donini Alfani ultima della casata ed unica erede, si fece continuatore di questa nobilissima ed antica famiglia assumendone il nome, il titolo comitale e lo stemma. Dal predetto matrimonio nacque il 6 febbraio 1857 il Conte Bartolo Alfani Danzetta che fu membro della R.
