Die Adelsfamilie zog 1739 nach Sardinien. Ein Giuseppe Filippo Arborio heiratete die einzige Tochter des Grafen Gerolamo Altea. 1753 hatten sie keine Nachkommen mehr. Ihre Titel und ihr Vermögen gingen an die Familie Alborio über. Sie änderten ihren Nachnamen in Arborio und ließen sich in Alghero nieder. In den folgenden Jahrhunderten drückten sie mehrere prominente Persönlichkeiten im öffentlichen Leben von Alghero und Sassari aus. Zu Beginn des Jahrhunderts XX, verbunden mit dem Savoyer Haus, spielte eine bedeutende Rolle im Hofleben. Familienmotto: "Ex forti dulcedo". Anderer Zweig. Familie Sassari, deren Informationen aus dem Jahrhundert stammen. XVII. Sie erbten die nützliche Herrschaft der Unterstellungsphase von Sassari und dies hatte es ihnen ermöglicht, riesigen Reichtum anzusammeln. 1744 erhielt ein Gerolamo, Finanzanwalt von Sassari, das erbliche Rittertum und den Adel sowie den Titel eines Grafen von S. Elia. Er hatte eine einzige weibliche Tochter, die einen Arborio Mella heiratete, und erbte 1759 den Titel
