Antike römische Familie, genannt Amodio, Amodei, Omodei oder Amidei, deren älteste Erinnerung aus dem Jahr 1308 stammt, oder in einer Mietanweisung, in der Nicolò A. das Bauernhaus Frassineti aus dem Kloster San Ciriaco führt. Francesco, Sohn des besagten Nicolò, gründete ab 1324 in der Kirche San Nicolò degli Arcioni (im Archiv des Klosters San Marcello) eine Kapelle unter dem Titel Santa Maria und San Gio. Battista. 1339 war Lorenzo de Amodei Schreiber des Senats und Vorläufer des Klosters San Ciriaco (zur Unterweisung im Archiv Santa Maria in der Via Lata) und übte dieses Amt bis 1337 aus. 1466 wurde Bernardo, Sohn von Lionardo Amodei, in die Bruderschaft des Erretters. 1653 stellen wir einen Felice Amodei (Nr. 1619) fest, einen Herrn aus dem Bezirk Pigna, gemäß der alphabetischen Reihenfolge, die 1653 vom konservativen Girolamo Muti bestätigt wurde.
