Família antiga originária da Hungria, ele gravou em Mântua em 1156 com Niccolò, pai da bem-aventurada Osanna. Os pesquisadores da Araldis apontam uma importante placa de mármore com o brasão da família Preti e Andreasi, colocada na Igreja de Nosso Senhor da Graça em Grazie, na província de Mântua, da qual relatamos fielmente o texto em latim: "Catharinae amorotae De Andreasiis Ludovici De Pretis uxoris ipsa sicmandante hic bones from ano que vem MDXXVII ultimo mês de agosto de um colecionador oficial Alexander De Pretis eius Fillius e perpetuam rei memoriam restaurari fecit MDLXXV ". Outro ramo. Originalmente da Hungria, Alexandre o transplantou para Ferrara por volta de 1591. Foi atribuído por Clemente VIII ao nobre Conselho. Outra família: é um ramo da antiga família de Mântua, transplantada no napolitano supostamente com um Alfonso, que em 1536 obteve o privilégio da nobreza. Em 1717, a família foi recebida por justiça
