La famiglia passò a risiedere in Napoli, con un Alfonso, nel 1536, il quale ottenne il riconoscimento di nobiltà, nello stesso anno. Nel 1717, la famiglia fu ricevuta per giustizia nell'ordine di Malta; nel 1724 fu investita del titolo di duca di Montemurro, passato per successione femminile ad altra famiglia; nel 1752 fu aggregata al patriziato di Lucera, e, in data 6 ottobre dello stesso anno, venne, per concessione sovrana, decorata del titolo di marchese. Fu detta famiglia ricevuta in seguito anche nell'ordine Costantiniano, e, nel 1852, per prova di nobiltà fatta da Gennaro, fu dichiarata ammissibile nelle Regie Guardie del Corpo. Altro ramo. Da Mantova passò a risiedere in Piemonte e, precisamente, in Casale. Tale ramo ottenne il titolo di conti di Roddi. Motto: INTUS UT EXTRA.
