Ursprüngliche Familie aus Ungarn, genannt Andreassi oder Andreasi, die 1156 mit einem Niccolò, dem Vater der gesegneten Osanna, nach Mantua zog. Gelehrte weisen auf eine wichtige Marmortafel mit dem Wappen der Familie Preti und Andreasi hin, die in der Kirche unseres Herrn der Gnade in Grazie in der Provinz Mantua angebracht ist und von der wir den lateinischen Text getreu berichten: "Catharinae amorotae De Andreasiis Ludovici De Pretis uxoris ipsa sicmandante hic Knochen conduntur quaeobiit Jahr MDXXVII ult ° Augusti quod autem vetustate collisum Alexander De Pretis eius Fillius und Perpetuam rei memoriam restaurari fecit MDLXXV ".
