Noble et illustre famille originaire de Valle di Vigezzo, où ils ont des souvenirs de l'aube du Xe VIe siècle, de la vertu claire et ancestrale, qui s'est propagée, d'abord passée à Milan et s'est propagée, au fil des siècles, dans différentes régions d'Italie. Un Pietro Andreoli avait le titre de marquis en 1741 et Giov. Antonio, son frère, en 1764, soutint le fief de Sorico. Autre branche. Originaire de Lombardie, cette famille passa pour résider à Gubbio à la fin du Xe Ve siècle., Ayant été exilé en raison du complot contre Galeazzo Sforza, en 1476. Un Giorgio obtint, en 1498, la citoyenneté, fut consul de la patrie et châtelain de la forteresse majeure tandis qu'un Lépide était maire de Mantoue.
