En la provincia de Burgos. Una de sus líneas se estableció en la villa de Pancorbo, del partido judicial de Miranda de Ebro, y de ella fué Diego de A., vecino de dicha villa, que probó su hidalguía en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid el año de 1538. Otra línea tuvo casa en el lugar de Artieta, y de ella procedió Luis de A., natural del lugar de Artieta, del Ayuntamiento del valle de Mena, partido judicial de Villarcayo, en la provincia de Burgos; casó con doña María Trasina, natural del lugar de Berrandúlez, perteneciente también al Ayuntamiento del Valle de Mena, y fueron padres de Juan Antonio A., natural de Artieta, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Francisca María de Villalantes, natural del lugar de Viergos, del Valle de Mena (hija de Juan de Villalantes, natural del lugar de Montiano de Tudela, del Valle de Mena, y de su mujer doña Francisca Martínez de Viérgol, natural de Viergos), naciendo de esa unión Francisco A. Villalantes, natural de Artieta, Oficial de la Secretaría de Gracia y Justicia y caballero de Santiago, en cuya Orden ingresó el 13 de Agosto de 1755.
