Una familia de este apellido tuvo casa en la ciudad de Cartagena, y de esa casa fué Leandro de A., natural de Cartagena, que casó con doña Isabel González de Rivera, de la misma naturaleza, y fueron padres de Francisco de A., natural de Cartagena, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Florencia Rodríguez de Ríonegro, nacida en la misma ciudad (hija de Alonso Rodríguez de Ríonegro, natural del lugar de Ungilde, del partido judicial de Puebla de Sanabria, en la provincia de Zamora, y de su mujer doña Josefa Espinosa, natural de la villa de Sepúlveda, en la provincia de Segovia), y de esa unión fueron hijos: Félix de A., que sigue, y Antonio de A., natural de Cartagena, Capitán del Real Cuerpo de Artillería de dicha ciudad y caballero de Santiago, en cuya Orden ingresó el 7 de Abril de 1766. El primero, Félix de A., natural de Cartagena, casó con doña María del Carmen de Rueda, natural de Gerona, hija de Francisco González de Rueda, natural de Zamora, y de su mujer doña Francisca de Ávila, natural de Salamanca; nieta paterna de Juan González y de su mujer doña Catalina María de Rueda, ambos naturales de Zamora, y nieta materna de Manuel de Ávila y de su mujer doña Petronila Varela, ambos naturales de Salamanca. Los mencionados don Félix de A. y su esposa doña María del Carmen de Rueda, tuvieron por hijo a Agustín de A., natural de Ciudad Rodrigo y caballero de Carlos III, en cuya Orden ingresó el 27 de Julio de 1797.
