Il Franchi in "Memorie Storiche" nota Nobilino d'Inforzato Mannelli iscritto all'opera di S. Jacopo nel 1197. Questa famiglia si estinse in Pistoia nel 1550. Le scimitarre in questo stemma hanno la stessa simbologia delle spade che in araldica dimostrano le nobiltà militare della famiglia e a volte rappresentano vendetta.
