Famiglia assai antica e nobile. Il capostipite è un Antonio Annone, che con diploma di re Filippo IV 9 gennaio 1625, ottenne il feudo di Gussola con Martignana nel Cremonese, col titolo comitale trasmissibile per linea primogeniale mascolina ed in mancanza, per una figlia e maschi primogeniti di questa. Il suo abiatico, un Giacomo Antonio Annone (n. 1665), abitante in parrocchia di S. Stefano Maggiore, aveva l'avello gentilizio nella chiesa di S. Maria della Pace dei Minori osservatori e fu padre, tra gli altri, di Giovanni Pietro Annone, colonnello nell'esercito cesareo, morto in battaglia a Torgan, in Sassonia, nel 1760 e Ambrogio, che possedeva stabili a Verderio. Questi, per decreto 27 agosto 1779, ottenne che il suo stemma venisse delineato nel codice Araldico e con altro del 17 febbraio 1781 che la famiglia sua fosse iscritta fra le nobili.
