Questa antica ragguardevole famiglia, la troviamo tra le 180 famiglie notate nella Bolla di Benedetto XIV; vanta parecchi cavalieri di Santo Stefano, Serpione in Pisa nel 1606, ed in Roma Bernizio nel 1629, Ludovico nel 1647, che fu eccelso conservatore di Roma nel 1649, Paolo Remigio cavaliere di S. Stefano nel 1670 e Paolo Gaetano nel 1697 il quale fu Priore de' Caporioni nel 1703 onore che ebbe pure Lodovico nel 1723. Vebberi li Aquilano in Roma modernamente mercanti Pisani; conforme la permissione di quella Repubblica lasciarono il negocio, e parentarono con li Scapucci e dal qual tempo si trattarono da gentiluomini; benchè la mercanzia per leggi di Pisa non offenda la nobiltà. Hanno la casa nel Rione di Campitello nella piazza di Campidoglio. Oltre il parentato de Scapucci, hanno parentato con Bonadies, con cittadini di Terni, con Vanni, con Lanti, con Vipereschi e ultimamente con Renzi vive oggi Ludovico
