Deste Rodrigo Anes descenderam os Araújos da Galiza, onde foram senhores de muitos lugares, Vasco Rodrigues de A. e de sua mulher, o qual era neto do primeiro Rodrigo Anes, passaram a Portugal, cujos Reis serviram e foram progenitores das famílias destes apelidos existentes no Minho ou desta província derivadas. Timbre: meio mouro, sem braços, vestido de azul e fotado de ouro ou a aspa do escudo. Parece que os Araújos, alcaides-mores de Lindoso, usaram armas diversas, semelhantes às dos Velosos.
