A família também era chamada presbítero. Tinha origens muito antigas desde os tempos de Otto I. Um presbítero, pai do conde Berno e ancestral de Bear, é lembrado em Gubbio, lembrado em um instrumento datado de 1029. Leto egubino pertencia ao partido de Federico Barbarossa. No segundo.
