En la ciudad de Orduña, del partido judicial de Valmaseda (Vizcaya), radicó una familia de este apellido, a la que pertenecía Diego de A., natural de Orduña, que casó con doña Isabel de Rivas, natural de Bilbao, y fueron padres de José de A., natural de Orduña, que contrajo matrimonio con doña María Gómez de Gorbea, natural del lugar de Respaldiza, en el partido judicial de Amurrio y provincia de Álava (hija de Juan López de Gorbea y de doña María Gómez de Urueta, ambos naturales del lugar de Luyando, también del partido de Amurrio), naciendo de esa unión Matías de A. y Gorbea, natural de Respaldiza, que casó con doña Bernardina de Murga, de igual naturaleza hija de Juan de Murga, natural de Respaldiza, y de doña María de Urquijo, natural de Zuaza, del partido judicial de Amurrio y provincia de Álava; nieta paterna de Sebastián de Murga y de doña María Sáenz de Amírola, ambos naturales de Respaldiza, y nieta materna de Cristóbal Urquijo y de doña María de Usátegui, ambos naturales de Zuaza. Los mencionados D. Matías de A. y Gorbea y su esposa doña Bernardina de Murga, tuvieron por hijo a Matías de A. y Murga, natural de Respaldiza, Marqués del Real Agrado y caballero supernumerario de la Orden de Carlos III, en la que ingresó el 29 de Mayo de 1789.
