Ancient and very noble family of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, of clear and ancestral virtue, which has spread over the centuries in various regions of Italy. The clear nobility of this family is confirmed by its presence in some of the most valuable European heraldic works, including: the "Nobiliario di Sicilia" by the historian and heraldist Antonio Mango di Casalgerardo (Palermo, 1876 - Milan 1948) and the " Historical-blazon dictionary of extinct and flourishing Italian noble and notable families" by the historian, genealogist and heraldist Giovan Battista di Crollalanza (Fermo, 19 May 1819 - Pisa, 1892).
