Ancient and noble family originally from the Susa area. In 1562 she was already Lady of the Castle of Rocca di Baldi, in 1597 she purchased Clavesana, then the Margherita which alienated in 1627 together with Rocca di Baldi. Quoted in "Blasonic historical dictionary of noble and notable families of extinct and flourishing Italian" vol.I, p. 66, compiled by the Comm. GB of Crollalanza, published at the editorship of the heraldic newspaper, Pisa 1888. They were Lords of Altaretto, Foresto, Giaglione, Gravere, Mattie, Maurienne, Meana, Monpantero, Rocca de 'Baldi, S. Giorio; consignors of Susa, Villarfocchiardo. Another family. Ancient and noble family originally from Fossano whose memories date back to the 16th century, in 1562 Duke Emanuele Filiberto donated the castle of Roccadebaldi to Giuseppe A. Another family. Ancient and noble Nicoise family.
