La familia original de Umbría ejerció la noble magistratura durante más de 200 años en el municipio de Amelia, donde obtuvo con Francesco en 1776, una inscripción a la nobleza decurional. Se inscribe en el libro de oro con DP el 19 de octubre de 1926 con el título de noble de Amelia en la persona de Stefano, su hermano Gino, y Aldo y sus hermanos Anna y Dino-Silvio. La bibliografía de esta familia es mencionada por el marqués Vittorio Spreti, en su Enciclopedia Histórica-Noble italiana impresa en Milán en 1936. Recopilando manuscritos de contenido heráldico y noble-genealógico, entre bibliotecas y en muchos archivos públicos y privados. Los testimonios y documentos recopilados para la formación del trabajo en cuestión fueron transmitidos por la propia familia. Como se muestra en la Revista Heráldica editada por el Colegio Heráldico de Roma.
